General Internship

About the position

An internship at Grimmway Farms is meant to provide a current college student an opportunity to gain work related experience in their degree field of study. When applying for the general internship position, students' applications will be reviewed and sorted to the season of interest. Internships are paid. Requests for college credit are supported.

Responsibilities

• Job duties will be dependent on individual department needs.
• Work may require teamwork and independent work.
• Job duties will provide experience and opportunities to learn how to navigate in a professional organization.
• Provide opportunity to build and leverage problem solving skills.
• Apply educational knowledge.
• Contribute to real business needs.
• Have an opportunity to develop soft skills in support of professional development.
• Travel may be required, depending on the department's needs.

Requirements

• Qualified to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship needed.
• Actively enrolled full-time college student - Full-time status is 12 or more credit hours.
• Successfully completed one full semester or two quarters and with at least one semester or quarter remaining prior to graduation.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience or relevant courses in area of interest.
• Ability to operate a computer.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.
