General Internship/Co-Op
About The Position
We are seeking motivated and talented students for our year-round internship and co-op programs in the fields of Civil/Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science and/or CAD. As an intern or co-op student, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to real-world projects across various practice areas. Requirements
- Currently pursuing a secondary degree (Associates, Bachelors, Masters, etc.) in a related field of study.
- Strong interest in gaining hands-on experience in your field of study.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MATLAB, GIS).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
- Valid driver’s license (for applicable positions).
Nice To Haves
- Experience or coursework in relevant areas such as environmental design, environmental geology, calculus, or geotechnical analysis.
- Interest in obtaining professional certifications (e.g., E.I.T., G.I.T.).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and project managers to meet client needs.
- Assist with design, analysis, and project development in your respective field.
- Prepare, review, and update design drawings and technical documents.
- Perform technical calculations and apply technical principles to solve project-related problems.
- Participate in fieldwork, site investigations, and data collection.
- Support the preparation of reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
