The Department of Medicine, Section of General Internal Medicine at Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine is seeking qualified Internal Medicine trained applicants for a full time General Internal Medicine (GIM) faculty position. Why Temple? Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to our patients in outpatient primary care settings, while teaching the fundamentals of general internal medicine to the healthcare providers of the future. 17 full-time faculty members whose interests include medical education, obesity, hypertension, HIV and Hepatitis C, integrative medicine, social determinants of health, trauma-informed care, medication-assisted therapies, palliative care and geriatrics. Supportive environment with faculty involved in numerous innovative educational and research programs in areas such as clinical skills training, physician-patient communications, ambulatory medical education and clinical trials. Highlights include: providing outpatient HIV primary care, ambulatory addiction medicine, inpatient addiction medicine consults, along with the precepting of internal medicine residents.
