Position SummaryAs a General Help/Lot Attendant, you are instrumental in creating a positive customer experience by maintaining the appearance and functionality of our dealership lot. Your role involves ensuring that the lot presents an inviting atmosphere for our customers. Additionally, you will be called upon to assist with a variety of projects, including equipment delivery, light mechanical tasks, and freight handling.

Requirements

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • High School diploma or GED, along with a Valid Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in operating heavy equipment.
  • Knowledge of mechanics and/or agricultural equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Check in – put away freight
  • Band & stack pallets
  • Inventory
  • Sweep/clean floors
  • Process internal company transfers
  • Stock showroom shelves
  • Fill rolling shop totes
  • Deliver net wrap
  • Unload/Load trucks
  • Get equipment started (plug in or jump start).
  • Move equipment in and out of cold storage.
  • Treat fuel in equipment on lot before winter.
  • Pick up/Deliver small shop work (heads, balers, skid loaders, mowers, compacts)
  • Assist technicians where/when needed
  • Winterize sprayers
  • Pre-deliver heads
  • Lot maintenance (spray weeds, mow lawn, move snow, etc.)
  • Organize new and used equipment (direction from sales staff)
  • Label and store all attachments (monitors, control boxes, seed disks, etc.)
  • Report any service needs of used equipment to service manager.
  • Update pictures / grab extra if needed.
  • Deliver small items (heads, balers, skid loaders, mowers, compacts).
  • Travel to farms and do assessments/take pics for large deals.
