About The Position
Excellence Property Care Solutions Inc. is urgently seeking a reliable and skilled General Handyman to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor in the Allentown, Pennsylvania area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and has experience across multiple trades. We offer a flexible schedule and the potential to earn $2,000 to $3,000 per week, depending on the scope and complexity of the projects you take on. We are especially looking for handymen who can cover a 50-mile radius around Allentown, allowing us to efficiently serve clients throughout Lehigh Valley and surrounding counties. Whether you're based in Allentown or nearby towns, we welcome applications from professionals willing to travel to job sites.
Requirements
- Proven experience in general handyman or maintenance roles
- Skilled across multiple trades: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required
- Own set of tools for multi-trade tasks
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently without direct supervision
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general handyman services.
- Quickly assess and resolve issues with practical, high-quality solutions.
- Complete assigned jobs within agreed timeframes without compromising on craftsmanship.
- Ensure all work is performed with attention to detail and consistent excellence.
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety protocols.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients, ensuring satisfaction and professionalism on every job.
- Contractors must have their own tools and a reliable vehicle to travel within a 50-mile radius around Allentown.
- You must carry your own liability insurance. If not already in place, you must be willing to obtain it before beginning work.
