About The Position

General Gastroenterology Opportunity in Southlake, TX Methodist Medical Group is seeking a talented Gastroenterology physician to join Methodist Health System in Southlake, TX! Our flagship campus in Dallas offers graduate medical education (GME) programs, including residencies and fellowships (Gastroenterology, General Surgery, OBGYN, Internal Medicine and Nephrology), that provide extensive training and educational experiences. We are seeking a talented and compassionate Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic team and help us continue our mission of excellence. We are looking for a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Current and unrestricted Texas medical license or eligibility for licensure
  • Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship program
  • Experience with a variety of endoscopic procedures
  • Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy, and upper endoscopy
  • Manage a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, such as inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, GERD
  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Participate in on-call rotations
  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with the latest advancements in gastroenterology
