About The Position

William Grant Tank & Vessel, Inc. is looking to hire a General Foreman to direct manufacturing operations and its employees. Essential Functions: Maintain a clear, clean workspace and work safely Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) Adhere to all applicable governing codes, customer specification, company policies and procedures , and industry standards Plan, organize, direct , and run optimum day-to-day operations Production schedule and activities Job distribution Fabrication Installation of internals Testing Preparation for shipment /trucking Loading Strategic lifts Machine work Employee management and relations Participate in onboarding newly hired manufacturing employees Build and maintain a trusting relationship with employees Working with management, conduct regular performance evaluation Take disciplinary action as needed Time and leave management Communication Address employees’ issues and grievances Safety Commit to plant safety measures and manage the day-to-day health and safety initiatives of production employees Conduct job-specific safety assessments Oversee s hop safety inspections Responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping Allocate resources effective and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions Participate in various activities related to safety, quality, people management, and HR

Requirements

Proven work experience directing manufacturing
Proven managerial experience
MS Office pr oficiency
Excellent communication skills; listening, comprehension, and feedback
Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills
High attention to detail
Capacity to handle pressure
Mental and emotional fitness
Independent and self-motivated
Strong work ethic, and the ability to handle peak work times
Physical requirements include s tooping, standing, walking, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, light work, and visual acuity

Nice To Haves

OSHA and first aid certified is preferred
Bilingual is preferred
