General Foreman | Utility Line Clearance
About The Position
Manage, direct and supervise crew leaders, field personnel and equipment as well as plan and execute assigned work by: Organizing and assigning crews and equipment to efficiently perform the required work Understand and follow all company policies, procedures, and work rules Maintain accurate records of required work Oversee the hiring and training of all Davey employees in territory Investigate accidents and promptly report to appropriate management Every day there's something new to do!
Requirements
- Love of the outdoors
- Ability to complete Electrical Hazard Awareness Program and OSHA training
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
- Required: valid driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Commercial Driver's License-Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement
- line clearance experience or other related tree work
- relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
- ISA Certified Arborist, ISA Certified Tree Worker, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional
