The General Foreman directs and manages all on-site construction workers, subcontractors and equipment, enforcing the company’s direction, policies, procedures and safety standards, while meeting construction deadlines and acting as the company representative when the Superintendent is away from the project site. This position also consists of performing tasks involving physical labor on a demolition/construction project, to include, but not limited to, operating hand and power tools of all types, cleaning and preparing sites, setting braces to support demolition, cleaning up rubble and debris.
