General Food Service/Cashier - Part-Time - NO EVENINGS/WEEKENDS!
About The Position
Creative Dining Services is seeking 2-3 enthusiastic part-time General Food Service/Cashiers to work a food cart at our location on The University of Saint Francis campus in Fort Wayne, IN! General Food Service/Cashiers perform a wide range of duties involved with preparing and/or serving food and beverages in a food service environment. May assist in set up and service, collection of garbage/trash (as appropriate to the area of operation). May serve food to customers and/or perform cashiering duties, as needed. These positions offer part-time hours that fit around school or other commitments. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with people, preparing food and being part of a fast-paced environment. DAYTIME HOURS (TUES, WED & THURS) - NO EVENINGS, NO WEEKENDS!!!
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and multitask effectively
- Basic reading and math skills
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Food service/hospitality experience preferred
Nice To Haves
- ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assemble fresh food bowls with attention to quality and presentation.
- Cashier (as needed), greet customers and ensure a positive experience.
- Collaborate with other team members to keep operations running smoothly.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment following food safety guidelines.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
