About The Position
The position is responsible for the safe operation of major earth moving equipment used in surface mining, including Track Dozers, Track Excavators, large Front End Loaders, Motor Graders, Haul Trucks, and Water Trucks. The role requires boarding and de-boarding of equipment and accessing inspection points to perform machine inspections. Work will be completed in varying extremes of environmental conditions with exposure to dust, noise, and adverse weather. The work may be performed on a multi-shift rotation, and the schedule may include weekend work and work weeks in excess of 40 hours. Duties require some moderate laboring of repetitive sustained physical effort, including walking, climbing, sweeping, shoveling, service jobs, minor mechanical duties, standing on uneven terrain, and lifting and carrying materials up to 50 pounds. All work must be performed in strict compliance with all Company, State, and Federal policies, rules, and regulations.
