As a General Engineering Associate II, you will be trusted to work on designing, developing, and implementing new or revised production processes for the efficient/economical mass production of goods at our Manufacturing Facility in Houston, TX!

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+4 yrs).
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
  • Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST
  • Location: Onsite
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 20%

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with Window MS Office Suite.
  • Familiar with Statistical Analysis testing (t-tests, normality test, process capability, confidence intervals, etc.).
  • Familiar with continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, 5S, Lean, Kaizen, etc.).
  • Familiar with Engineering change controls, i.e., engineering documents and procedures, equipment documentation, project deliverables, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Complete revalidation assessments for all manual, semi, and fully automated production processes.
  • Optimize revalidation assessment site guidelines.
  • Implement CFR 21 Part 11 compliance guidelines in all applicable production equipment.
  • Develop manufacturing capacity models to support project prioritization and capital investments.
  • Design the arrangement of manufacturing equipment to ensure the most efficient and productive layout.
  • Design the sequence of production operations, specifying procedures for the fabrication of applicable tools and equipment, and adapting machinery in response to factory conditions.
  • Conduct tests throughout all stages of production to determine control over applicable variables and to troubleshoot/solve production problems.
  • Provide guidance to product design engineering on technical specifications that will best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
  • Ensure that production processes and procedures follow regulations.
  • Incorporate inspection and test requirements (Gage R&R) into the production plan.
  • Inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigate and initiate corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
  • Include project management on assigned tasks.
