About The Position
The General Engineer position at the Department of Defense involves multidisciplinary professional engineering work focused on the acquisition, development, and sustainment of Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) weapon systems. The role is critical in ensuring the effectiveness and reliability of the U.S. nuclear deterrent capabilities, particularly through the management of complex engineering projects and systems integration. Engineers in this position will work on various technical challenges, including the reconstitution of nuclear weapons production capabilities without nuclear explosive testing, and will be involved in the entire lifecycle of ICBM systems.
