About The Position
The Portland State University Library seeks an enthusiastic and collaborative General Education Librarian to join the dynamic campus community of Oregon's most affordable and diverse public research university. In coordination with the supervisor, the General Education Librarian provides library instruction primarily for undergraduate general education programs and initiatives as defined by the University Library. These programs include the University Studies program, writing composition, and others related to the undergraduate curriculum and student experience. The General Education Librarian also creates, and participates in the assessment of, online learning objects, web tutorials, guides, and other learning platforms relevant to general education. The position also provides reference and information services for the University's students, faculty, staff, and the general public.
