About The Position
SafeHaven General Development Internship Job Description To support the SHTC development team by assisting with these tasks: Marketing, report to Micah Thompson Assist with printing quarterly appeals Once during quarter on specific day coordinated by Micah Grants, report to Amy Hampton Research new foundations for potential grants Social Enterprise, report to Lindsay Zehentbauer Assist with social marketing opportunities, volunteer outreach, donor outreach and engagement for Berry Good Buys Taking pictures of items for the store Staging pictures for items for sale online Market research on other social enterprises to learn from what they do Research on best practices for workforce development with individuals recovering from trauma Help develop strategies to engage new and current BGB donors Third-Party Donor Relations, report to MadeleineRuth Norman Assist with Purple Party Reach out to organizations for donations Help with picking-up donations Help with seating arrangements/tickets as we get closer to day of event Assist with In Good Company and 3 rd party fundraising events Help solicit original events Assist with refining the process to organize and complete events In-Kind Donations, report to Mia Richter Assist as-needed Volunteering, report to Katey Pirot Assist with sending follow-up volunteer appreciation emails Assist with scanning and sorting volunteer applications Help with responding to interested volunteers
Responsibilities
- Assist with printing quarterly appeals
- Research new foundations for potential grants
- Assist with social marketing opportunities, volunteer outreach, donor outreach and engagement for Berry Good Buys
