Requirements

  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to formulate comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Proficient in the latest dental technologies and techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage patient anxiety and create a comfortable environment.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
  • State Licensure: Must be licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Continuing education in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Examine and Diagnose: Perform dental examinations, diagnose oral conditions, and create treatment plans for patients.
  • Preventive Care: Provide routine dental cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive measures.
  • Restorative Procedures: Perform procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and other restorations to treat decayed or damaged teeth.
  • Oral Surgery: Extract teeth and perform minor surgical procedures, including simple and surgical extractions.
  • Cosmetic Procedures: Provide aesthetic treatments such as teeth whitening, veneers, and bonding to improve patients' smiles.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to maintain oral health.
  • Prosthodontics: Provide dentures, partials, and other prosthetic appliances for tooth replacement.
  • Collaborative Care: Work with our orthodontists, periodontists, endodontists and oral surgeons when referrals are necessary.
