About The Position

Responsibilities: -Provide dental services including exams, restorative treatments, oral health education, and preventive care. -Diagnose and treat patients within professional scope and IHS standards. -Assist in patient care processes, ensuring adherence to safety, infection control, and IHS standards. -Complete and maintain patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Dental Record (EDR). -Comply with Joint Commission and CMS standards in a culturally competent manner. -Participate in quality assurance activities and adhere to IHS and service unit policies. -General Dentistry -Restoration and minor surgeries -Extractions

Requirements

• DMD or DDS from a CODA-accredited institution.
• Unrestricted any state dental license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in general dentistry.
• Background check and character investigation as per the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act. Credentialing and fingerprinting required before starting.
• Ability to work in Remote Areas and travel if necessary, with weather-related travel challenges expected at some locations.
