About The Position
General Dentist needed for a 3-month locum tenens assignment in Lexington, KY. The position starts April 6 and has a Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm work schedule. The dentist will see approximately 13 patients per day, plus hygiene checks and exams. The dentist will be working along side 1 or 2 dentists. They are fully staffed with dental assistants and hygienists. Culture fit is huge for them, they want someone who will come in and get along with the staff already in place. 50% of population is spanish speaking, 40% are not insured / under insured. They also treat refugees at the clinic.
Requirements
- KY license
- BLS
- DEA
- Enroll in KY medicaid
- Comfortable working with a diverse patient population (Spanish-speaking, uninsured/underinsured, refugees)
- Comfortable working in a FQHC environment
