About The Position
We are currently looking for a dedicated Dentist who wants to work in a supportive environment where they can build a meaningful practice. Our clinical team works together to deliver quality dental care and services, manage health disparities amidst our target populations, and make a significant impact on the health of the diverse communities we serve. The Dentist at Kennedy Community Health Center provides preventive and restorative services in dentistry, and promotes optimum oral health to all patients. They will diagnose and treat oral disease, injuries, and malformations of all structures of the oral cavity. As part of the team-based approach to care, the Dentist will participate in coordinating care for individual patients, support patients and families in self-management through evidenced-based approaches as may be appropriate, engage in health center projects that are aimed at specific patient population needs, and will utilize effective and appropriate communication strategies, such as health literacy approaches when working with patients.
