About The Position

The General Dentist supports Willamette Dental's evidence-based treatment philosophy, mission, vision and core values by performing the full scope of general dentistry permitted by state.

Requirements

• Degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), and/or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).
• Successful completion of a traditional pre-doctoral dentistry program.
• Valid licensure in the specific state(s) where practicing.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of AxiUm electronic records.
• Familiarity with CAMBRA and PEMBRA, with an emphasis on prevention.
• Understanding of risk phases and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of diagnostic terms and techniques needed to diagnose and treat oral cavity anomalies.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full scope of general dentistry permitted by state.
• Fulfill all requirements to ensure proper electronic documentation for all care provided to patients.
• Utilize knowledge of evidence-based dental practices.
• Assess patient needs and provide optimal patient experience.
• Evaluate patient satisfaction and meet quality standards for services.
