About The Position

The General Dentist supports Willamette Dental’s evidence based treatment philosophy, mission, vision and core values by performing the full scope of general dentistry permitted by state.

Requirements

• Degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), and/or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).
• Successful completion of a traditional pre doctoral dentistry program.
• Valid licensure in the specific state(s) where practicing.
• Knowledge of evidence based dental practices.
• Familiarity with diagnostic terms and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full scope of general dentistry permitted by state.
• Fulfill all requirements to ensure proper electronic documentation for all care provided to patients.
• Utilize AxiUm electronic records for patient documentation.
• Implement CAMBRA and PEMBRA with an emphasis on prevention.
• Conduct risk assessments and understand risk phases.
• Diagnose and treat oral cavity anomalies.
• Provide optimal patient experience through needs assessment and quality service evaluation.
