About The Position
As a licensed dentist, the General Dentist at Gladiolus Coast Dental and Orthodontics is responsible for providing comprehensive general dentistry services. This includes the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures. The role requires a commitment to quality patient care and the ability to educate patients on dental health effectively. The dentist will perform a variety of procedures, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and the use of dental appliances. The position also involves coordinating laboratory services and adhering to safety protocols, including the use of protective equipment and compliance with OSHA/Bloodborne pathogen requirements. In addition to clinical duties, the General Dentist will participate in morning huddles, chart reviews, and routine office meetings to ensure a collaborative and efficient work environment. The dentist will utilize x-rays, dental instruments, and other diagnostic procedures to assess patient conditions accurately. The role emphasizes preventive dental services and patient education, ensuring that patients are informed about their oral health and hygiene practices. The General Dentist must also be prepared to perform all other duties and responsibilities allowed under applicable state laws and regulations, contributing to the overall success of the dental practice.
