About The Position

The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is conducting a search for 2 full-time general/trauma/surgical critical care surgeons to join the Division of Trauma, Critical Care & General Surgery. The practice includes 24/7 coverage of emergency general surgery, surgical critical care, and our Level 1 Trauma Center in addition to team-based and individual elective surgery.

Requirements

• Board-certified/board-eligible in General Surgery.
• Successfully completed fellowship training in surgical critical care.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Minnesota.

• Demonstrated achievement or strong potential to advance the science of surgery in relevant clinical research, particularly in data science/AI.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 coverage of emergency general surgery and surgical critical care.
• Participate in the operations of the Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Conduct team-based and individual elective surgeries.
