Who you are: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required One (1) year experience working in construction Summary: The General Construction Technician is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the Plant Renovation Department. Essential Job Duties: Remodel / Unit Turnover Assists with apartment turnover. Supports unit renovations through demo, framing, minor repairs, trim work, hauling/cleanup, and general jobsite assistance. May operate company truck for the purpose of transporting workers, construction materials, and light equipment. Performs general maintenance duties, such as: fixing wall covers, floor covers and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work, minor electrical repair and appliance repairs. Completes assigned work orders daily according to work order system policy Performs minor building and equipment repairs Maintains all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor Assists, during winter, with snow removal efforts HOSPITALITY FOCUS: Carillon Senior Living fully embraces a culture of hospitality. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • One (1) year experience working in construction

Responsibilities

  • Assists with apartment turnover.
