About The Position
TLC Construction is looking for a General Construction Team Member! A 4-Day Work Week & Travel Expenses Paid (when out of town travel is necessary) $18.00–$30.00 per hour (based on experience) Looking for a hands-on construction role where your work actually matters and you still get long weekends? You just found it. We are a trusted nursing home contractor for the State of Indiana, and we’re expanding our construction team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and wants to be involved in projects from breaking ground to final state certification. This position is subject to state-mandated regulations for working in long-term care environments. To be eligible for employment, applicants must be able to satisfy all state guidelines, including a clean criminal background check and drug screen. Specifically, state law prohibits the hiring of individuals with a felony conviction within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities
- Assiting with new contruction and renovation projects from start to finish.
- Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, furnishings, and property.
- Working with a tight-knit crew that values safety, quality, and accountability.
- Ensuring all work meets Life Safety and Fire Code requirements.
- Helping maintain clean, safe, and efficient job sites.
