About The Position

The Construction General Laborer supports various phases of construction projects by performing physical labor tasks on-site. This position involves assisting skilled tradespeople, preparing and cleaning job sites, handling materials, and operating basic tools and equipment. A strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety are essential.

Requirements

• Previous construction or general labor experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions.
• Willing to learn and take on new tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction activities such as site preparation, material handling, and cleanup.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
• Operate hand and power tools safely under supervision.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with the construction crew.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support skilled workers (carpenters, operators, masons, etc.) as needed.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned.
