We are currently hiring full-time General Cleaning Technicians. The General Cleaning Tech cleans and servicing rail cars, tank trailers and other containers and vessels utilizing various methods (i.e. pressure wash, diesel wash, scrubbing, scraping, heel removal, water flush, hydro-blast, etc.) A General Cleaning Tech can work in multiple departments (Bays, Racks, Railcar).

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to read and understand English for the purposes of interpreting MSDS documents.
Comfortable working in extreme temperatures, hot or cold.

Nice To Haves

Experience with confined space entry, drum management, trains loading, purging preferred
Experience in pressure washing, hydro-blasting, forklift, pumps preferred

Responsibilities

Clean assigned units following JSA, work orders and instruction given by supervisory staff
Participate in completion of JSA
Wear protective equipment as necessary for each job
Follow all safety procedures
Package waste in appropriate containers
Keep work area clean
Keep Protective Equipment clean and check daily for wear that might prevent the equipment from performing correctly
Attend Safety Meetings
Attend training as scheduled
Report to work on time and as scheduled
All other job duties assigned
