Responsibilities
- Direct the work of a team of maintenance employees to provide a safe and well-maintained site.
- Plan, prioritize, and delegate work assignments.
- Identify resource needs and allocate resources accordingly.
- Manage the formation and distribution of Work Orders (service, repair, and preventive maintenance) and ensure timely completion to quality standards.
- Inspect the quality of the work performed by subordinate team members.
- Perform maintenance work as needed.
- Monitor and control supplies and equipment.
- Train or coordinate training in facility maintenance and safety methods, procedures, and techniques.
- Manage and coordinate activities of local service providers and/or subcontractors.
- Answer questions and provide information to the public; investigate complaints and recommend corrective action as necessary to resolve complaints.
Requirements
- Limited experience and education are acceptable, making it a good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce.
