About the position

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Facilities Lead. The Facilities Lead is responsible for directing the work of a team of maintenance employees to ensure a safe and well-maintained site. This role involves planning, prioritizing, and delegating work assignments, as well as managing the formation and distribution of Work Orders for service, repair, and preventive maintenance. The Facilities Lead will also inspect the quality of work performed by the team, perform maintenance work as needed, monitor and control supplies and equipment, and train or coordinate training in facility maintenance and safety methods. Additionally, the Facilities Lead will manage and coordinate activities of local service providers and/or subcontractors, and address public inquiries and complaints.

Responsibilities

• Direct the work of a team of maintenance employees.
• Plan, prioritize, and delegate work assignments.
• Identify resource needs and allocate resources accordingly.
• Manage the formation and distribution of Work Orders and ensure timely completion to quality standards.
• Inspect the quality of the work performed by subordinate team.
• Perform maintenance work as needed.
• Monitor and control supplies and equipment.
• Train or coordinate training in facility maintenance and safety methods.
• Manage and coordinate activities of local service providers and/or subcontractors.
• Answer questions and provide information to the public; investigate complaints and recommend corrective action.

Requirements

• Limited experience and education acceptable.
• Military experience encouraged to apply.
