Requirements

Be 18 years or older
Pass a fingerprint-based background check
Obtain and maintain an airport security badge
Have reliable transportation for overnight hours
Communicate in English or Spanish
Be physically able to lift, push, or pull up to 80 lbs
Demonstrate strong attendance and reliability
Must be able to perform physical movements necessary to execute the necessary functions and tasks of the job.
Stand and walk 94% of the time
Climbing: Ascending or descending using feet, legs, hands, and arms.
Balancing: Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces.
Stooping: Bending body downward and forward.
Kneeling: Bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee or knees.
Reaching: Extending hands and arms in any direction.
Handling: Holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hands.
Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 80 lbs and carry it 10 or more feet.

Responsibilities

Perform deep cleaning tasks that cannot be completed during daytime operations
Clean and sanitize restrooms, terminals, gate areas, and common spaces
Conduct detailed floor care , including sweeping, mopping, auto-scrubbing, burnishing, stripping, and waxing (as assigned)
Sanitize and disinfect high-touch surfaces , including seating, fixtures, handrails, elevators, and escalator rails
Remove gum, spills, stains, and debris from floors and seating areas
Clean and polish glass, windows, stainless steel, and hard surfaces
Dust vents, ledges, signage, and other hard-to-reach areas
Collect, sort, and dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with airport guidelines
Operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and properly
Wear required PPE and follow all safety, chemical handling, and OSHA-compliant procedures
Perform post-construction or project-based cleaning when scheduled
Complete overnight area resets to ensure spaces are ready for morning operations
Inspect assigned areas for cleanliness and completeness before shift end
Report safety hazards, damaged fixtures, leaks, or maintenance concerns promptly
Secure cleaning carts, supply rooms, and equipment at the end of the shift
Assist supervisors with emergency response as needed
Provide coverage support in nearby zones when required
Maintain professional conduct and comply with all airport security and access requirements
