About The Position

Are you a detail-oriented professional looking for a consistent evening role? We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Janitorial General Cleaner to maintain the high standards of a local elementary school. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently and ensuring a clean, safe learning environment for students and staff.
Position Overview
Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM (Part-Time)
Experience: 1 year of professional cleaning experience preferred.

Requirements

• Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs repetitively throughout the shift.
• Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for the duration of the 4-hour shift.
• Reliability: Strong attendance record and punctuality are non-negotiable.
• Professionalism: Must be able to work efficiently and follow safety protocols.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of professional cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• General Cleaning: Sanitizing classrooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces.
• Waste Removal: Pulling trash and recycling and replacing liners.
• Restroom Maintenance: Thoroughly cleaning and restocking restrooms.
• Floor Care: Regular vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
• Team Support: Completing other cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor to keep the facility in top shape.
