About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial General Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at our facility in Amherst, VA. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and can work independently in the evenings.
Requirements
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Restock supplies as needed
- Follow cleaning checklists and safety procedures
