About The Position
Janitorial General Cleaner – Thomasville, NC We are looking for a disciplined, high-energy General Cleaner to maintain a clean and healthy environment for a local Rehabilitation Center in Thomasville. This is a vital role that ensures the safety and comfort of patients, staff, and visitors. Because this position is within a healthcare setting, we are looking for a self-starter who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of a sanitized environment. Position Details Pay Rate: $13.50 per hour Schedule: Monday – Friday Hours: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM (2 hours per evening) Location: Rehab Center in Thomasville, NC
Requirements
- Dependability: Must be punctual and consistently show up for every scheduled shift.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the facility in Thomasville.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently without constant supervision; you must be a self-starter.
- Attitude: A positive, customer-service-oriented mindset is essential.
- Attention to Detail: High standards for cleanliness and sanitation.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Sanitize and disinfect restrooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces.
- Empty trash and recycling bins.
- Work independently to complete the nightly checklist within the allotted time frame.
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude if interacting with facility staff.
