Position Overview: The NP or PA will plan, direct, and evaluate resident and employee healthcare in a growing cardiology program; examine and treat chronic and acute episodic illnesses, minor injuries, accidents, and other injuries/illnesses; perform selected laboratory testing; offer referrals to physicians, write prescriptions, and perform office procedures within the scope of expertise, protocols, and available equipment. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will also collaborate with the medical director in the care and treatment of patients.
