About The Position

Join a prestigious, comprehensive Heart & Vascular Center with collegial colleagues at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington (Portland metropolitan area). Position is available for an Invasive or Non-Invasive Cardiologist. PeaceHealth has an immediate opening for a General Cardiologist. Candidates with interest and/or training in Heart Failure are encouraged to apply. Experienced and new graduate BE/BC Cardiology candidates are welcome to learn more about the opportunity. The established team includes 2 EPs, 3 Interventionalists, 1 Heart Failure Specialist, 1 Cardiac Imaging Specialist, 4 General Cardiologists, 3 Nurse Practitioners and 5 Physician Assistants.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiology.
• Interest and/or training in Heart Failure is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a high-volume cardiology practice.
• Familiarity with advanced cardiac imaging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiology services including interventional cardiology, structural heart, electrophysiology, heart failure, cardiovascular surgery, and vascular surgery.
• Participate in call rotation with expectations of 1:7 - 1:8.
• Utilize clinic facilities including 4 Echo Rooms, Nuclear Medicine Camera, holters and event monitors, and device clinic on site.
• Perform procedures in 6 Cath Labs at the hospital, including 2 dedicated EP labs, 1 hybrid lab, 2 coronary rooms, and 1 neuro room.
