About The Position

This position will mainly be in charge of running the snack shack at the high school. 3.75 hours per day, 184 days per year

Requirements

• Some experience with food service operations preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to follow oral and written directions
• Ability to work cooperatively with others
• Effective communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist the head cook with food preparation.
• Assist in setting up the food lines for service and replenish food as needed.
• Serve students in the serving line or operate the cash register.
• Record appropriate food and equipment temperatures.
• Assist with putting away received orders.
• Assist with monthly inventory.
• Attend trainings.
• Clean cafeteria tables at the end of lunch service and perform other cleaning duties as assigned.
• Other duties assigned by food service director or head cook.
