Performs general repair and maintenance of architectural and structural systems in county buildings. Items such as doors, windows, floors, walls, ceiling stairs, office furniture, shelving, roof repairs and other related work. Safely operates, cleans, maintains and stores a variety of stationery and hand tools, inspects facilities to identify architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical and plumbing deficiencies, also conducts building safety inspections. Prepares work requests for all necessary architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs and maintenance, coordinates with facility users to correct deficiencies in building systems. A flexible working schedule is required as well as overtime, call-back, and on-call. Note: This position is designated as Essential Personnel.
