About The Position

At PTS, a Tavoron company, we offer a wide variety of contract manufacturing services and products, including, but not limited to, automated wire cutting, stripping machines and automated crimping machines. We
build electrical panels directly from schematics and drawings. PTS is looking to hire a General Assembly position for our team. This position is primarily responsible for cable prep, wire processing and/or building assemblies and panels according to customer specifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Six to twelve months related experience and/or training
• Attention to detail
• Multi-tasking
• Be able to read and interpret written instructions
• Good command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Basic workmanship skills (workmanship manual)
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Be able to use hand and power tools as required
• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Committed to ISO standards and procedures; adhere to all guidelines set forth in Employee Handbook
• Follow all company policies regarding documentation, included but not limited to BOM changes and Document Change Orders
• Strive for quality and neatness in work performed and maintain work area (following 6S)
• Efficiently transition within a variety of tasks
• Be willing to learn new tasks and assist other departments
• Pre-inspect Shop Order parts
• Build assemblies and panels according to customer specifications
• Print labels and terminal markers
• Create sub-assemblies for storage for future product
• Coordinate with others to produce wires as needed to meet schedule
• Complete all required Shop Order paperwork
