AT A GLANCE Location: Lakeland, FL Area - between Tampa and Orlando Schedule: Full-time | 40 hours/week | Choose 3x13, 4x10, or 5x8 hour shifts Caseload: General surgery, ENT, orthopedics, small vascular, light pediatrics, and regional cases Mix of own cases and supervision W2 or 1099 option available COMPENSATION & BENEFITS $425,000 base salary Six weeks of paid vacation Comprehensive benefits package W2 with option to convert to full 1099 arrangement Lower cost of living and no state income tax in Florida
Requirements
- Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology - required
- Active Florida medical license is a plus but not required to apply
- Strong clinical skills with a commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative care team
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services across a diverse caseload including general surgery, ENT, orthopedics, small vascular, light pediatrics, and regional cases
- Perform a mix of independent cases and supervision to maintain clinical variety and professional engagement
- Adhere to best practices and evidence-based guidelines for anesthesia administration to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver comprehensive, high-quality patient care across all specialties
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of anesthesia administration, patient records, and clinical progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards
- Participate in a culture of continuous improvement, staying current with the latest advancements in anesthesiology to enhance patient care
