General Anesthesiologist- Assistant Professor (Multiple Positions)
About The Position
The Department of Anesthesiology at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School, seeks a qualified general anesthesiologist for a full-time position as Assistant Professor, Non-Tenure Track. Duties include on-site anesthesia services to adult patients at University Hospital; intraoperative and didactic teaching of residents; participation in Faculty Development programs; work collaboratively with the members of the surgical services both clinically and administratively; and participation in research that forwards the discipline both academically and clinically. The University Hospital, a primary teaching hospital of the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, is a widely recognized tertiary care center and Level 1 Trauma Center. Full-time faculty position for Attending General Anesthesiologist involving patient care, resident and student didactics, and research functions.
Requirements
- Have a medical doctorate or equivalent
- Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the state of New Jersey
- Be a BC/BE Anesthesiologist
