As a General Accountant, you will support the accuracy, reliability, and completeness of Accelevation’s financial records. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of experience in general accounting or a related role
Experience working with ERP systems and a basic working knowledge of GAAP
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders
Basic analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn and grow
Ability to function effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
High level of integrity and discretion, with the ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information

Responsibilities

Preparing general ledger account reconciliations with appropriate supporting documentation
Preparing, reviewing, and posting standard journal entries as needed
Supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities within established deadlines
Assisting with preparation of audit support and documentation for periodic financial statement audits
Performing intuitive ad-hoc reporting and basic financial analysis as requested
Reviewing general ledger activity to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting
Ensuring compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards
Assisting with the development, documentation, and maintenance of accounting procedures and controls
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting questions and improve processes
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting function
Performing other duties as assigned
