About The Position

Michael and Son Services, Inc. is seeking Generac Certified Technicians to join our team. Our technicians have the opportunity to earn performance-based income, with average annual earnings between $61,000 and $73,000 after their first year. We offer a $1,000 signing bonus for those with a Generac Tech ID. Technicians will receive a fully-stocked take-home service truck, paid automotive insurance, a gas card, a company cell phone, and a tablet for paperless ticketing and dispatching. We provide industry-leading training programs to enhance your skills and promote within our organization, with many technicians advancing to Service Manager roles.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Generator Technician.
• Experience in generator installations, service, and maintenance.
• Experience in mechanical gas line work.
• Experience in residential troubleshooting, new circuits, and panel changes.
• Experience in small engine repair.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• High level of motivation and strong work ethic.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform generator installations, service, and maintenance.
• Conduct mechanical gas line work.
• Troubleshoot residential electrical issues, including new circuits and panel changes.
• Perform small engine repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service and interact positively with the public.
