About The Position

support process development for rAAV-based gene therapy programs. This position will work in a team of three to support the development and qualification of assays, new reagents, and equipment in a fast-paced, high throughput environment.

Requirements

  • BS in a life sciences discipline (Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique
  • Ability and willingness to learn and work with automation/robotic handlers
  • Must have a strong attention to detail
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with compendial assays (endotoxin, visual inspection, bioburden, et.)
  • Hands-on experience conducting immunoassays and cell-based assays (ELISA, qPCR, PCR, etc.)
  • Understanding of GLPs, GMPs, and/or GxPs

Responsibilities

  • Assay planning, preparation, execution, and post-run activities utilizing qPCR, dPCR, cell-based potency, ELISA, immunoassay, and compendial assay runs for rAAV-based gene therapy testing
  • Participate in qualification of new reagents and equipment, and assay investigations
  • Sample and reagent preparation via automated liquid handlers (Tecan Fluent), data analysis, interpretation, and reporting
  • Documentation (ELN) in a GLP or GxP environment
