University, GenAI Engineer The Opportunity: Do you enjoy creating innovative solutions to complex challenges while working within a community of dynamic technology professionals? As an experienced data professional, you know that machine learning is critical to understanding and processing massive datasets. We need your technical expertise to support federal healthcare. As a machine learning engineer, you'll be responsible for breaking down use cases, designing, and implementing complex system modules, interfaces, and features. You'll leverage your technical expertise in AI. You'll develop new robust, secure, and performant production-grade sof tware. You’ll use your communication skills to work with a team to build, test, and operate system capab ilities. You’ll leverage your expertise with full-stack web application development, experience with sof tware design and implementation on large codebases, and learn new languages, technologies, and codebases quickly. You will apply your expertise with AI - GenAI, Agentic AI, and LLMs, and work independently while collaborating with a team to build complex features, integrations, and modules. Your skills and extensive technical expertise will guide clients as they navigate the landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks.   • 2+ years of experience with machine learning engineering, including in an academic or professional environment
  • Experience with natural language processing and language models
  • Experience with RAG, AI Agents, and Generative AI techniques
  • Experience with programming in Python, Java, or C++
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree by Spring 2026 or Summer 2026
  • Experience in developing sof tware architectures with containerization tools, including Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with machine learning, including linear, reinforcement learning, tree based, or deep learning-based met hods and regularization approaches
  • Experience with databases, including SQL
  • Experience with sof tware development, including API development or database management, and model deployment and usage with Javascript frameworks, including React, Angular, or Node.js
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Ability to work in a Linux environment with Bash Scripting
  • Scheduled to obtain a Master's degree in CS, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field by Spring 2026
