About The Position

The GenCyber Coalition Project Facilitator position is a regular, part-time (50% FTE), limited-term role located on Oahu, serving at four University of Hawai‘i campuses. The position involves engaging in a broad range of activities that support project goals, including publicizing, recruiting, enrolling, and onboarding middle and high school students for GenCyber Student Camps. The facilitator will develop targeted outreach, manage social media presence, and provide logistical and administrative support to program directors. The role may allow for telework, subject to approval.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 2-4 years of professional experience in administration.
• At least 1 year of experience in GenCyber or Cybersecurity areas in a higher education institution or cybersecurity-related business/organization.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and facilitate trainings.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and cloud-based systems (e.g., Google Suite).
• Valid driver's license and personal driver's insurance.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working on a federal grant.

Responsibilities

• Publicize, recruit, enroll, and onboard middle and high school students for GenCyber Student Camps.
• Develop targeted outreach for GenCyber Student camp activities.
• Create and distribute social media announcements.
• Drive to other campuses to support different project directors.
• Provide logistical and administrative support to the Program Directors.
• Assist with the procurement of goods and services for the Student Camps.
• Assist in hiring teachers for the project.
