About The Position
The GED Instructor provides general education to students preparing for GED test(s), which includes basic academic skills in reading, writing, and math. The instructor will assist in the administration and scoring of the TABE and GED practice tests. The position includes counseling students, prepare student records, report data, and maintaining state and local paperwork. Recruits and promotes the adult education program to the public and private organizations. Must attend and participate in staff development and staff meetings. The GED Instructor is responsible for classroom employees and volunteers. Must be proficient in Windows applications (such as Word and Excel), Blackboard, internet, outlook, and job-related software programs.
