About The Position
The Gear Grind Machinist will independently and safely set up and operate 4 axis Kapp and/or 6 axis Gleason CNC Gear Grinding equipment. This position is essential for producing complex finished products by reading and understanding process travelers, setup journals, operation sheets, and CMM inspection reports. The machinist will also be responsible for setup, tooling adjustments, and program offsets as necessary, while maintaining good housekeeping practices and complying with all company and safety rules.
