Bell-Textron Inc. is seeking a Gear, Cut & Grind technician to support our manufacturing operations at our Drive Systems Center at our Drive System Center location in Grand Prairie, Texas. The technician will set up and operate all types of gear manufacturing equipment including gear cutters, gear grinders, gear shavers, lapping machines, etc., to produce a wide variety of gears and splines including spiral bevel, helical and hypoid gears. Setups and work must be held to extremely close tolerances. The technician will also advise and assist in the development of new gears and gear cutting processes, and test and check gears using gear testing and checking machines and equipment. Additionally, the technician will set up and/or perform all grinding on case hardened surfaces.
