We are looking for individuals who bring new and diverse skills to the team. Your Tasks We are seeking a GE Controller to lead forecasting, planning, and analysis of General Expenses. This role will also support general accounting functions, including month-end journal vouchers and account reconciliations. As a trusted partner to senior leadership, you will provide insights that shape strategic decisions around GE spend. This position offers a hybrid working model, combining collaboration in our Stamford office with flexibility to work remotely.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in a multinational CPG company.
  • Strong accounting background with deep understanding of balance sheet and income statement
  • Experience managing GE/Overhead expenses and handling confidential information
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP, including CO/PA assessment cycles
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential)
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls and risk management
  • Proven ability to implement new processes and standardize reporting with stakeholder alignment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead GE planning and forecasting cycles with ownership and accountability
  • Serve as a key business partner across cross-functional teams, facilitating standardized monthly meetings
  • Conduct monthly variance analysis of GE/Overhead actual expenses
  • Record GE re-classes and journal vouchers monthly/quarterly to ensure accurate reporting
  • Drive continuous process improvement in GE management practices
  • Manage cost center reporting, including cycle administration and chart of accounts oversight
  • Review cycles and allocations to ensure accurate departmental reporting
  • Lead accounting processes for balance sheet provision and accrual accounts
  • Oversee planning and forecasting for Other Income & Expense
  • Deliver detailed bridges and variance analyses comparing forecasts and prior-year results
  • Identify risks and opportunities to ensure organizational targets are achieved
