GE Aerospace Research is looking for an innovative intern to help shape the Future of Flight! We are exploring new advancements in the Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision team around AI safety and explainability, causal discovery, network encoding, transfer learning, language models, material property forecasting, and more. Our internship is aimed at experimentation for real aerospace problems, with patenting and publication both targeted in the completion of the session's work. An ideal candidate should be skilled in and ready to read the latest scientific publications coming out, implement methods from papers and/or pseudocode, design new variant techniques, set up experiments for objective analysis, benchmark their findings, and present their work convincingly across varied levels of technical knowledge. Throughout the internship, interns work with a technical member (one of the more senior scientists on the team) to structure and execute their work, meeting regularly to ensure maximum collaborative power and mentorship. At GE Aerospace Research, we see AI as one of the key areas that will help us to continue to advance humanity's ability to move around and beyond our planet - safer, faster, farther, and more sustainably. If you want to be a part of making that happen, then we would love to hear from you!
